http://www.myboogieboard.com/products/boogie-board-sync-9.html Ok. I'm not going to lie here! I love gadgets, but this seems very, very useful. The Boogie Board is basically a substitute for paper tablets, but it does do a little more. If for no other reason, this thing is great because it acts as a tablet, but you can sync and save those pages to your phone/tablet/computer. Right now I have 4 paper tablets floating around my desk that I am using for classes and writing down ideas. It would be nice to have those all saved in one place! This tablet also syncs wirelessly using bluetooth - this means that you can sync to a computer and have live views of what is being written. It's light and the battery lasts about a week in between charges. It holds about a 1,000 pages so I won't have to worry about syncing and saving all of the time. For those of us who cannot type and think, this could be pretty cool.
Oh by the way, it also works as a digitizer. This means that it is basically a mini SmartBoard. I'm going to purchase one this week and would be happy to share what I learned.
Google Air Online Educational Conference
http://www.educatorstechnology.com/2015/03/google-announced-free-online-education.html
Google announced an online education conference for people who want to use Google products in the classroom. This one is on Friday May 8th, and Saturday May 9th. This is great because that is our weekend here in Egypt. The conference will have lots of webinars put on by fellow teachers and seems like such an awesome thing as it's tough to get PD here in Egypt. It's also free.
