Better late than never! It seems like Google has a certification program (I knew about that), they have training videos about their products (I didn't know but makes sense), and they offer online tests so that teachers can become certified (I certainly did not know this one).
This seems very useful as I know our school is looking very hard at using more and more Google products, but training and certification is very, very hard to get outside the USA and maybe a few countries in Europe. Each test is $15 and you have to complete the bank of tests within 90 days of your first test. There are 5 mandatory tests for certification and a bunch of optional ones. So... basically certification would cost $75 for all of the tests. I know there are videos on Youtube concerning the test prep, and Google does have practice programs posted so it's not like anyone would have to shell-out a bunch of money for test preparation or anything.
I could totally see getting a group of teachers together from my school to form a community and work together to get certified. This just seems like such a good idea as we move more and more towards cloud services. I could also see parents and students appreciating that their teachers are Google certified and know how to integrate technology.
